Chet Zar's gallery on myartspace.com [May. 9th, 2007|05:18 pm]
Juxtapoz Art and Culture magazine

You can now embed your gallery onto live journal, myspace, and other sites... including your personal website. This is going to change the way that artists can display their work online! Just click on the 'play button'.

The stop and speed buttons are for the images. For example, if you want to look at one image you hit 'stop'. Just refresh your page to stop the gallery presentation.

Also, you can have video clips in your gallery as well. So if you are a performance artist, animator, or anything involving video... have fun. :P

Check out the myspace profile:

Feel free to send my a message on my myspace account if you have any questions OR friend me on LJ.

Hi, my name is Brian Sherwin. I'm a painter, art critic, and I interview artists. I'm very involved with the online art community. You may have seen my work under the name 'Balhatain' on LJ. I've also went by the name Crimson_Coke. I want to introduce you all to myartspace.com.

The competition is still going strong! Feel free to visit my journal to learn more about the competition or visit this link:

Also, the interview section has been updated. Go to the following link to read the interviews I've conducted with dozens of emerging and established artists- including, Chet Zar, Aleksandra Mir, Mark Ryden, Miky Fabrega, Kocot and Hatten, and many more!

Remember, the site is free to join and it is one of the most professional gallery sites on the web at this time. The site is ran by artists and business professionals. Join today, and feel free to contact me if you have any trouble getting started.

Here is a link to my gallery so you can get an idea of what you can do with your account:

So they do let me out of my studio sometimes . . .

This time the warden has released me to San Diego to inflict my special brand of Steve Ellis-ness on the unsuspecting people at Comicon 2006.

So if any of you are out and about in Southern California stop in and see me. I'll be sitting in booh i-5 (yeah, just like the freeway that takes you there), conveniently located in the back of the convention center right next the the concession stand.

Here's a sneak peek of a new painting that will be making it's worldwide debut at the con:

I hope you can make it.
